Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (AHP)
Hybrid with travel to sites and head office | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week
About the role
Allied Health Professionals are at the heart of the care we deliver, from occupational therapists and psychologists to speech and language therapists and physiotherapists, and finding the right people takes real expertise. We’re looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to take ownership of AHP recruitment across Elysium.
You’ll work closely with hospital and therapy leaders to understand what they need, find and engage the right candidates, and give every applicant a standout experience. You’ll be part of a growing Talent Acquisition team, building a sustainable pipeline of AHP talent and reducing our reliance on agency.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a portfolio of AHP vacancies end-to-end, from briefing the hiring manager through to offer and onboarding.
- Proactively sourcing candidates through direct search, professional networks, social media, universities and events, building talent pools for current and future vacancies.
- Partnering with hiring managers to agree role requirements and recruitment plans, and advising them on the AHP market.
- Screening and shortlisting candidates, coordinating interviews and keeping everyone updated.
- Managing job adverts and using approved agencies only where direct routes have been exhausted.
- Making sure pre-employment checks, including right to work and professional registration, are completed in line with safer recruitment practice.
- Using our ATS to keep accurate records, and reporting on pipeline and vacancy activity.
- Sharing your AHP market knowledge with colleagues and helping us improve how we recruit.
To be successful in this role
- You have experience of recruiting AHP roles, and understand the professional registration requirements involved.
- You have strong full-cycle recruitment experience, and are comfortable managing a busy workload of live vacancies.
- You’re confident sourcing candidates directly for specialist or hard-to-fill roles.
- You’re confident using an ATS to manage vacancies and candidates. Eploy experience is a bonus.
- You’re a strong communicator who builds trust quickly with candidates and hiring managers.
- You’re organised and self-driven, able to manage your own priorities and keep stakeholders informed.
- You’re comfortable working on a hybrid basis and travelling to sites as needed.
- A recognised HR or recruitment qualification (e.g. CIPD) and/or equivalent relevant experience.
